Young Gunner heads for Rams

Arsenal have permitted 18-year-old midfielder Nacer Barazite to leave the club and join Derby on loan until the end of the year.

The young Gunner had a excellent reserve campaign, where he netted 18 goals, interrupted last season by a dislocated shoulder but is hoping to push his way into Arsene Wenger's plans in the second half of the season.

The Dutch youth international was a key part of his nation's UEFA Under-19 Championship qualifying campaign and he will join up with Paul Jewell's side until January in the hope of landing regular first-team football.

The Rams boss had made it clear he wanted to land some of Arsenal's young players on loan deals and he has now got his wish with Barazite.
