Boss' Cup finalists belief

DoncasterSean O'Driscoll is expecting a stern test from Cardiff on Saturday as his Rovers side bid to avoid coming back to earth with a bump.

Doncaster entertain last season's FA Cup finalists at the Keepmoat stadium seven days after they got their Championship campaign off to a flier at Derby County.

But the Welsh side are also in form and have started the new campaign with back-to-back 2-1 wins over Southampton and Bournemouth.

O'Driscoll is expecting a gruelling encounter and says the Ninian Park club have strengthened over the summer.

"They are a good team, they've shown that last season and they've started the season brightly as well," said the Doncaster Rovers manager.

"They've used the money generated by their cup run to strengthen the team and they'll be a big test for us."
