O'Driscoll's strikeforce fears

DoncasterSean O'Driscoll has admitted he is concerned at Doncaster's toothless strikeforce following Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat against Barnsley.

The Rovers boss witnessed his side create several chances, before crashing to a Jon Macken goal at the Keepmoat Stadium in a defeat which sent them to the bottom of the Championship table.

"It's not a confidence thing, you have to have a bit of luck," O'Driscoll said.

"We are still getting in areas to score, they're just not coming at the minute."

O'Driscoll also admitted that he is scouring the market to try and sign some attacking reinforcements, but is struggling to find anyone the club can afford.

He added: "There are lots of strikers out there but the people who are available are outside our financial category.

"There maybe a few things we can do but it's not as clear-cut as you'd think."
