Doncaster have signed defender Andy Griffin on a deal until the end of the season.
Griffin initially signed for the npower League One club on a short-term contract to take him up to the start of 2013.
The 33-year-old will provide Rovers boss Dean Saunders with vital experience during the second half of the season given his versatility.
"He's a good, experienced player who can play left or right-back," said Saunders.
"He talks to the other players and gives them his opinion on how the game is going.
"He found himself without a club and he's signed for us for not a lot of money."
Griffin made 11 appearances for Doncaster in all competitions during the first half of the campaign.
