Several Doncaster players will have late fitness tests ahead of the visit of non-league neighbours Bradford Park Avenue in the FA Cup.

Defenders Paul Quinn and Shelton Martis (calf) and midfielders Kyle Bennett and David Cotterill (calf) are all being monitored ahead of the first-round tie.

"A few players are carrying knocks but they may be okay," Rovers boss Dean Saunders told the club's official website.

"Kyle Bennett picked up a knock last week and is struggling. David Cotterill is struggling. Paul Quinn picked up a knock last week but might be ready, but might not. Shelton Martis might be ready, but might not. There are a few of them getting late fitness tests."

Saunders insists he will not be underestimating the opposition, adding: "We can make it an easy afternoon or a difficult afternoon, depending on our mentality.

"I've been in football too long to know that if you don't have the right attitude in games like this then it can go wrong."
