Dundee United manager Craig Levein has confirmed an enquiry from newcomers St Johnstone for left-back Danny Grainger.
The 22-year-old, who was snapped up from Gretna 18 months ago, has seen his first-team progress limited by the arrival of Paul Dixon, although Levein revealed there was no offer on the table.
"We have had a phone call from St Johnstone about Danny Grainger," he told the Evening Telegraph.
"At this stage, it is only an enquiry and there has been no bid, so there is nothing more to say."
