Dundee United have today confirmed that Johnny Russell has joined Forfar Athletic on loan until the end of the year.
The young striker has struggled to break into the senior set up at Tannadice Park after making his professional debut in May 2007.
Having made just three substitute appearances for the Tangerines he has now been given the chance to get some regular first-team football under his belt with Forfar.
