Reports claim Andy Johnson's proposed move from Everton to Fulham is on hold after a hitch with the player's medical.The transfer was expected to be completed before the weekend, but it's suggested Fulham now have concerns over the move as the medical is alleged to have shown up an old knee injury.
Both clubs remain confident that the deal will eventually be concluded but it's understood Fulham are trying to renegotiate terms of payment with Everton.
Fulham boss Roy Hodgson will be keen to resolve the issue as soon as possible, as he looks to team up Johnson and Bobby Zamora, while Everton need the transfer cash to fund their own summer signings.
