Liverpool are reported to be keeping tabs on Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas, but will face competition from rivals Everton.
Simon Mignolet has impressed since arriving at Liverpool but Brendan Rodgers is keen to bring in another top quality goalkeeper to put more pressure on him and Navas is a reported target.
The Costa Rica ace has also had a good season in La Liga and the scouts have been flooding to Levante games to check him out with a view to making a move.
Liverpool and Everton have been among them and reports claim an £8million battle for his services could be on the cards, while Seville and Atletico Madrid could offer him the chance to stay in Spain.
Atletico will need a new keeper if they cannot persuade Chelsea to sell Thibaut Courtois and they will be the favourites to do a deal if they can guarantee him first-team football.
