David Moyes will give Yakubu and Joseph Yobo a chance to prove themselves fit for the Merseyside derby tomorrow.

The Nigerian duo are back after spending January on Africa Cup of Nations duty in Angola and keen to be involved in the squad for tomorrow's Anfield showdown.

Louis Saha, who limped off against Wigan Athletic last Saturday, is set to declare himself fit and Sylvain Distin, who missed the win at the DW Stadium, may be ready to return.

Moyes is also hoping to have former derby hero Mikel Arteta and Jack Rodwell available as the Toffees chase their first win at Anfield since 1999.
