Roberto Martinez is happy to see midfielder Ross Barkley head off to be involved for England in their two World Cup qualifiers.
Barkley has burst onto the scene this season and his performances have caught the eye of national team boss Roy Hodgson.
The 19-year-old is in the squad for England's games against Montenegro on Friday and Poland on Tuesday but Martinez has no problem with that and believes the experience will do him good.
"I always said I am happy with Ross going with England, it's a terrific experience. He's such an exciting character who is going to be representing his country," Martinez said.
"He's someone that is still growing and developing - but I'm not concerned about him being involved.
"Ross is not going to be someone who has all the pressure on him. He brings something different and he can be used. It's very different to other members of the squad."
