Everton are one of a number of clubs looking at making a move for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair in the summer.
The former Swansea wide man moved to the champions last summer for £6.2m but his appearances have been few and far between for City and he has only started two Premier League matches this season.
Sinclair, who played for Great Britain in last summer's Olympics, is now poised to consider his future this summer after his disappointing campaign, but Everton are not alone in wanting him.
Aston Villa are also keen on the 23-year-old and could take advantage of the uncertainty at Goodison Park surrounding David Moyes' future to land the player, although they have to ensure they win their relegation battle first.
