David Moyes is said to be monitoring the situation at Birmingham and is preparing to make a move for young keeper Jack Butland.

The Blues are in a financial pickle and if they do not find a new owner soon they may be forced to sell their prized assets. And young keeper Butland, along with Nathan Redmond, are the ones being linked with moves.

Agents for England and team GB Olympic keeper Butland are now sounding out who would be interested and Moyes is said to be on the top of the list.

Birmingham fought hard to keep hold of the keeper in the summer but the chances are that he may have to be sold in the New Year and if that is the case then Moyes is top of the list.
