Everton linked with Mexican winger

Last Updated: Sun, 13 Oct 2013 17:32

Valencia winger Andres Guardado has emerged as a January target for Premier League side Everton.

Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen to bolster his squad in January and has been credited with an interest in Los Che winger Guardado.

Valencia are open to a sale due to their ongoing financial concerns, and it is understood an offer of around £6million could be enough to convince them to sell.

The 27-year-old only joined Valencia in May 2012 but could be set for a move away, although Everton may face competition for the Mexican if it becomes clear he is set to leave the Mestalla.
