New signing James McCarthy is looking ahead to when Romelu Lukaku can make his bow for the club after signing on from Chelsea.
Lukaku was paraded on the pitch at half-time last weekend but was unable to play against his parent club Chelsea because of the terms of loan deals in the Premier League.
McCarthy is looking forward to him being available in the next match, away at West Ham on Saturday, and says he has been doing great things in training.
"Romelu is great," he said. "We've seen what he's got in training and it's amazing. On Friday we were doing shooting practise and he banged in six out of seven. It just shows you how strong our squad is. I think he'll be massive for us.
"We just need to push as far as we can go. We took Chelsea right to the wire and got a great result. No teams are going to like coming to Goodison and we can get points away too. There's no reason why we can't target Europe."
