Goalkeeper Carlo Nash and youngsters Shane Duffy, Kieran Agard, Adam Forshaw and Jake Bidwell will all start against BATE Borisov.

David Moyes has taken the unusual step of naming his starting XI well ahead of kick off, with the manager forced into naming a youthful team for the final Europa League group match.

Keeper Nash will make his first start since joining the club in the summer of 2008 while youngsters Duffy, Agard, Forshaw and Bidwell will also make their debuts.

Leon Osman will start after a lay-off through injury, with Moyes admitting that he would rather not start him but due to a lack of numbers, his hand is forced.

The Everton boss told the club's website: "If it was a game we had to win then we would obviously play a different line up but we have already qualified for the final 32 and we can't get any higher in the group.

"We have a very busy Christmas coming up and I still don't have many available to me, so I have to preserve my players."
