Everton striker Nikica Jelavic is wanted by German side Hamburg, who are set to make a £6million offer for the Croatia star.
Jelavic's future at Goodison Park has been called into question this summer after a difficult campaign last time around, when he scored just nine goals in 43 appearances under old boss David Moyes.
Roberto Martinez's arrival and the subsequent capture of Arouna Kone from Wigan means Jelavic might struggle to secure a regular starting berth in the new season and Bundesliga side Hamburg are now set to test whether Martinez wants to keep the former Rangers man.
The 27-year-old, who began his time on Merseyside in brilliant fashion when he scored 11 goals in his first 16 games following his move from Scotland in January 2012, could be available for around £6million as the Blues try to balance their books this summer.
Jelavic will want to play regular football in a World Cup year and may be interested in a switch to Hamburg if he is told by Martinez he will not always be first choice this season.
Well-placed reports say an offer of £6million is imminent from Hamburg and Everton are seriously considering cashing in on the frontman.
