Wigan striker Arouna Kone has revealed that he would be interested in following former boss Roberto Martinez to Everton.
Kone was one of the star players in Wigan's failure to survive their relegation battle, scoring 11 goals and helping them to triumph over Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
Martinez has already mentioned that he would be interested in taking a few of his top performers from the DW Stadium to Goodison Park as he aims to try and continue the success of his predecessor David Moyes.
The Ivory Coast international has a buyout clause of £6.5million on his current deal which runs with the Latics until 2015.
Kone said: "I have a contract until 2015 with Wigan and I settled very well there.
"Yes, I want to be playing in the Premier League but it also depends on Wigan because I have a contract with them.
"Everton? Just because the gaffer is in charge makes the link stronger but, to be honest, I don't know what will happen. After the international games I will know more."
