Marouane Fellaini is a major doubt for the clash with Chelsea on Tuesday after picking up an ankle injury against Liverpool.

The Belgian was stretchered off in a challenge that saw Liverpool's Sotirios Kyrgiakos sent-off and although the initial scan revealed there was nothing broken he is unlikely to feature against Chelsea.

Meanwhile, defender Sylvain Distin is urging his team-mates to forget about the Liverpool clash and focus on the Chelsea match after admitting that the players were feeling sorry for themselves a little after losing the Merseyside derby.

That's the way it is in England, there's a lot of games and you don't really have too much time to feel sorry for yourself, you have to refocus on the next game," he told evertonTV.

"It's going to be another big game and it's a big month so we have to turn the page and learn from our mistakes and carry on."
