Moyes denies he is losing interest

David Moyes has denied he is losing his appetite for the Everton job after the side were turned over in the FA Cup by Wigan.

Moyes' side watched their hopes of silverware disappear on Saturday afternoon when the Latics but three past them in a three-minute spell at Goodison Park, and the fear is that the season will peter out with speculation over Moyes' future continuing to dominate.

Moyes has said he will decide on his own future at the end of the campaign but he denies he is losing his enthusiasm for the role and expects the side to bounce back from Saturday's defeat.

"I still have the same appetite for that job," said Moyes, quoted in The Sun. "I think the fans realised it was just a bad day, we didn't play well.

"We lost a big game at Wembley last year and came back incredibly well. So I would expect the same from the players now and from me too."
