Everton boss David Moyes is lining up a summer move for Rennes full-back Rod Fanni, according to reports.
Moyes was watching the player in action on Wednesday night when Rennes lost to Bordeaux and the 27-year-old, who has two caps for France, was the player he was there to see.
A Rennes insider told the Sun: "Mr Moyes was here and we understand he's interested in Rod. We'll see what will happen at the end of the season."
Meanwhile, Porto star Raul Meireles, who was also said to be a target for Moyes, has signed a contract extension in Portugal meaning he will not be on the move in the summer.
