Everton boss David Moyes is ready to make a move for Porto front man Christian Atsu in the summer and is lining up a major offer.
The Ghana striker is highly rated and the 21-year-old would cost around the £10m mark, but Moyes needs a quality forward and he may feel the investment is worth it.
Porto have the player under contract until 2014 but discussions over a new deal have stalled which has led to speculation that he could be moving on.
Much will depend on Moyes, who has yet to decide on his next move; either stay at Goodison and sign a new deal of his own or move on to pastures new.
