Toffees skipper Phil Jagielka believes new signing Romelu Lukaku will be the added spark Everton need for a great season.
The Belgium international is on loan at the club from Chelsea and Jagielka believes if he can reproduce the sort of form he showed at West Brom last season, where he netted 17 goals, then Everton are in for an exciting time.
The 20-year-old signed on the dotted line on transfer deadline day but he will not be able to play this weekend as Chelsea are the opposition and loan players are not allowed to turn out against their parent clubs.
Jagielka told the Echo: "I've played against him and he's a big strong striker.
"He's got pace, he's got power and more often than not he finds the target."
