Everton are being linked with a move for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo who concedes he may be on the move in the summer.

Boss David Moyes is keen to add a regular goalscorer to his side as neither Victor Anichebe or Nikola Jelavic have found the back of the net consistently this season.

The Spanish international has been on target 20 times already in Spain and has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe as Sevilla have debts they need to pay off.

Negredo is seen as a major asset but will leave if it is decided it's best for the club, although their president Jose Maria del Nido has refuted claims the 27-year-old will be let go.

Negredo will do what is best for the club, he said: "I'm happy here. If the president says that he will not sell, there are other players that can go,"

"He will seek what is best for the club and if I have to leave then it is because he sees fit. But I am calm and at ease here.

"This city and this team have given me a lot. In the end, we are all in the shop window. I want to finish the season here and then the president will decide. For better or for worse, we will all benefit."
