Everton striker Conor McAleny looks set to leave Goodison Park at the end of the season after failing to break into the first team.

The 19-year-old has failed to find a regular first team place in the squad, despite being an ever present in the second string, and after failing to agree a new deal at the club he will be moving on.

McAleny has made a couple of appearances for the first team with his debut coming in the defeat at Arsenal in December's defeat but his way to the first team has been blocked by the arrival of Nikica Jelavic and also the form of Denis Stracqualursi.

Both Derby County and Southampton in the Championship haven been monitoring his progress and could make a move for the player when the season ends, according to Click Lancashire.
