Toffees set to take on Leicester

Last Updated: Mon, 16 Jun 2014 17:49

Everton will play Premier League newcomers Leicester in a pre-season friendly in Thailand this summer.

Both clubs have strong links to Thailand - the Toffees have a long-established relationship with brewers Chang while the Foxes' main partner is King Power - and the match will be held at Bangkok's Suphachalasai Stadium on July 27.

"Leicester showed last year they have the infrastructure and resources to compete at the highest level and we look forward to testing ourselves against them as we get ready for what we hope will be another memorable campaign in both the Premier League and Europe," said Everton chief executive Robert Elstone.
