United hitman in Toffees switch

EvertonEverton have agreed an undisclosed fee with Manchester United for the signing of striker Louis Saha on an initial two-year deal.

The France international has agreed terms at Goodison Park and will make the switch from Old Trafford on a deal until summer 2010, with the option of another 12 months.

The 30-year-old, who has suffered with a myriad of injury problems since joining United from Fulham in January 2004 for just under £13million, will link up with his former team-mate Phil Neville at Goodison Park subject to a medical.

Saha's arrival takes Everton's recruitment figures up to three this week, while they await a work permit for Nigerian Victor Obinna. It means boss David Moyes will be aiming to sign at least four more players before Monday's deadline.
