Young defender Johan Hammar has been allowed to leave Everton on loan and has joined non-league Stockport County for a month.

The 18-year-old, who joined the Blues in July 2010 from Malmo FF in his native Sweden, has linked up with Darije Kalezic's side on a short-term basis in a bid to get some regular first-team action.

Hammar, who is a Sweden Under-19 international, is set be included in Kalezic's squad for Tuesday night's visit of Lincoln City and will hope to impress on the initial one-month deal that could yet be extended if he does well.
