Steven Pressley says he expects to be part of a new Falkirk dream team alongside manager Eddie May and Alex Smith.

The new Bairns number two is convinced the trio share the same footballing principles and cannot wait to get cracking on a new era at Falkirk Stadium.

Pressley told the Daily Record: "I've studied the game in depth over the last two or three years and I've got my ideas on how the game should be played.

"What was encouraging was my ideas and Eddie's ideas were very similar. That's why I believe we have the right partnership, along with with Alex.

"Alex is a hugely experienced and a very well respected man. We are very excited about the experience he brings to the club."
