Chris Barker will deputise for injured centre-back Craig Cathcart as Argyle seek to disrupt Doncaster on Saturday.

The on-loan Manchester United defender is still out with a knee injury so left-back Barker must again cover.

Belgian striker Emile Mpenza is back in training but is not likely to start at Home Park.

Boss Paul Sturrock has confirmed young striker Ashley Barnes has held discussions over a new contract at the club.

The 19-year-old has formed a promising strike partnership with Jamie Mackie in recent weeks, but Sturrock wants Barnes to keep his feet on the ground.

He told the club's official website "We are in discussions (with Barnes) but I'd rather he concentrates on the games than a contract."
