Bath City were founded in 1889, known then as Bath AFC, and have been playing their home games at Twerton Park since 1932. The Stripes, their nickname due to their black and white striped shirts, have reached the FA Cup third round no less than six times. Notable former players include West Ham striker Bobby Zamora and ex-Southampton defender Jason Dodd.
