The outcome left Hamilton in third place and handed the race to his closest title rival, Felipe Massa, which meant his overall chamionship lead was cut from eight points to just two.
McLaren's appeal against the decision will be heard on September 22, but Hamilton is just focusing on securing a vital win in Italy on Sunday.
"I feel I have a great car," he said. "We will continue going down the same route we are now, continue to knock at them (Ferrari) and take points off them, and try to make sure we improve our reliability in all areas.
"But to be honest, I feel like I'm coming here off a win, and just moving onto the next race.
"Normally I'd be here and you (the media) would be saying 'How does it feel? You must feel great with the momentum you have?' and that is how I feel.
"I don't feel any different to when we normally win. I don't feel at all disheartened by what happened.
"In fact, I think I've been very fortunate because I've a lot of support behind me, so I feel great.
"I know this weekend we can win, making sure we do the right job. That's what we're here to do."
