Martin Jol is looking to send Pajtim Kasami out on loan to aid his development due to a lack of first-team action at Fulham.

The 20-year-old had been set for a temporary move to Italian side Pescara on transfer deadline day last month, but the necessary paperwork wasn't processed in time due to internet problems at his agent Mino Raiola's hotel.

However, with the loan window for teams in the Football League reopening, Jol is hopeful a deal can be thrashed out with a club that will be beneficial to all parties.

Kasami's opportunities for the Cottagers has been restricted to just three substitute appearances this season with Damien Duff and Ashkan Dejagah both ahead of him in the pecking order.

He said: "Pescara told us he would be a vital part of their squad but in the end it didn't come off.

"Sometimes you hope and pray that it will happen because he wanted to play.

"At 7 o'clock they had to register but the internet wasn't working so it was bad luck."

"I will try to do something because he deserves to play," he added.

"Damien Duff and Dejegah play in his position, so there is not a lot of opportunities here.

"Hopefully we can find something for him because he's a good talent."
