Cottagers agree winger loan

FulhamQPR have re-signed left winger Lee Cook from Fulham on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.

The 25-year-old left Loftus Road last summer for £2.5m as the R's were forced to cash in on one of their best players to stave off a financial crisis.

Months later Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone's takeover ensured Rangers' future and they have since been trying to get QPR fan Cook back to Loftus Road.

Cook told Rangers' website: "Once it was clear I could leave Fulham there was only one club I wanted to move to."

Cook never played a competitive game for the Cottagers after signing for them while he was recovering from knee surgery and was loaned out to Charlton last term.
