Cottagers clinch defender deal

Last Updated: Fri, 01 Aug 2014 11:58

Fulham have signed Bulgarian defender Nikolay Bodurov on a three-year contract.

The 28-year-old's deal has the option to be extended by a further year, once his initial terms expire in 2017.

Bodurov, a centre-back, has won 24 caps for his country and has made over 350 professional club appearances.

He started his career with hometown club Pirin Blagoevgrad and in 2009 he moved to Litex Lovech, who he played for last week in their Europa League qualifying match with Hungarian side Diosgyor VTK.
