Fulham have allowed young goalkeeper Jesse Joronen to move out on loan for a month to Blue Square Bet Premier side Cambridge United.

The 19-year-old stopper joined the Cottagers in 2010 and is being tipped for a bright future by the club's goalkeeping coach Vic Bettinelli.

Even fellow Finn and former Fulham favourite Antti Niemi has sung the praises of Joronen, who is now in his third season with the Premier League outfit.

The 6'4" star has already been capped by Finland after appearing last month in a 3-1 victory against Thailand in the King's Cup tournament.

Joronen is now in line to make his U's debut against Hereford this weekend, having previously spent two months on loan with Conference South side Maidenhead United.
