Fulham star Danny Murphy has signed a new one-year deal at Craven Cottage, with the option of a further 12 months.
The former England midfielder emerged as a key player in the Cottagers' successful fight against relegation last season following disappointing spells with Charlton and Tottenham.
Murphy, who made his name with Liverpool, scored the winner at Portsmouth on the final day which secured the club's Premier League status.
He is one of few Lawrie Sanchez signings to have made an impact having arrived on deadline day last August from Spurs.
