Fulham target Ola Toivonen is still mulling over a new deal at PSV Eindhoven ahead of a potential January bid from the Cottagers.
The Sweden international striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the past 12 months but has been offered fresh terms by Dutch giants PSV as they attempt to persuade him to stay.
Mino Raiola, Toivonen's agent, said earlier this month that the player was keeping his options open and he would consider a move away if the right club came in.
The 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer but PSV technical manager Marcel Brands believes his failure to sign a new deal so far does not mean he wants out.
He told De Telegraaf: "I have no indication that Ola does not want to renew, because otherwise he would not have kept us waiting for so long.
"I talked to Mino Raiola last week when he was in America - we will have to see if we meet face to face or talk again over the phone. There is no ultimatum."
As well as Fulham, Norwich, West Ham and Newcastle have all been credited with an interest in the forward, who could be available for just a cut-price £2million, in the past.
