Defender deal on hold for Fulham

Fulham's move to sign Sweden right-back Fredrik Stoor will not happen until next week, according to his current club.

The Rosenborg defender is still needed for the Norwegians' Intertoto Cup clash with NAC Breda at the weekend so the Cottagers will have to wait to push the deal through.

Rosenborg head of media Nils Heldal told Setanta: "Talks have been held with Fulham in a positive environment.

"But nothing will be finalised until after Rosenborg's match against NAC Breda this Sunday."
