Mahamadou Diarra is closing in on a new Fulham deal after completing 90 minutes with the development squad on Monday.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has been on the sidelines for nine months with a serious knee injury and fell out of contract at the end of last season.
Diarra remained with Fulham despite seeing his deal come to a close and boss Martin Jol has previously revealed the 32-year-old could earn a new deal if he manages to prove his fitness.
There is space for Diarra in Fulham's 25-man Premier League squad and it would seem as if he is close to earning a new deal after he completed 90 minutes for the development squad in their 2-1 win at Reading on Monday.
