Fulham are being linked with Panathinaikos' Greek international midfielder Charalampos Mavrias after watching him in midweek.

Mavrias, 18, came on as a substitute for the last five minutes of Greece's 0-0 draw with Switzerland on Wednesday, but has been tracked by Martin Jol since the start of the season.

Mavrias impressed in Panathinaikos' Europa League defeat at Tottenham in December and attracted a reported bid of 2m euros from Bundesliga outfit VfB Stuttgart in the January transfer window.

Fulham have been paying more attention to the Greek Super League this season after the success of summer signing of Georgios Karagounis from Panathinaikos.

Reports in Greece claim Jol is also an admirer of Olympiakos striker Kostas Mitrologu - who scored against Arsenal with a bullet header earlier this season.
