Fulham have agreed a deal with AC Milan to bring in midfielder Urby Emanuelson on loan until the end of the season.

The Dutch international plays on the left - either in midfield or in defence - and will provide some extra cover.

The 26-year-old was a product of the famous Ajax youth academy system and spent some time playing under Martin Jol when he was in charge at the Amsterdam Arena in 2009.

It is understood that Mino Raiola is the agent of both Jol and Emanuelson and he helped to broker the deal between the two clubs.

"He can play left midfield, wide, play number 10, [and] I feel we need fresh legs," said Jol.

"I coached him at Ajax. He is a skillful player, very agile. He is very mobile and quick."
