Fulham sign Dutch starlet

FulhamFulham have completed the signing of Dutch youth international striker Danny Hoesen as boss Roy Hodgson builds for the future.

The 17-year-old forward becomes Hodgson's 12th signing of the summer in what has been a major overhaul at Craven Cottage.

Hoesen has already made his first-team debut for Fortuna Sittard but will join Fulham's academy following a succesful trial period.

The player himself is pleased to move to a Premier League side and hopes to settle in quickly.

"It's all gone quickly," Hoesen told Fortuna Sittard's official website. "But if a team from The Premier League want you, you should not doubt yourself.

"I will start with the Under-18 team, but the trainer has already indicated that there is a possibility that I may soon join the second team."
