Fulham manager Martin Jol insists there has been no approach for Molde centre-back Vegard Forren.

Speculation over transfer activity has already gone into overdrive this month, with the Cottagers linked with a host of players.

Fulham were reported to be the English side Molde are in negotiations with over Norway international Forren, although Jol said that was "not true".

The Dutchman was also asked about Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg and Dnipro's Derek Boateng, who is reportedly seeking a work permit ahead of a move to west London.

"There is no latest," Jol said. "There is always speculation. We will only tell you hopefully in the next couple of weeks if something happens and nothing happened.

"There is a lot of talk in papers and media in England, although 95 percent of all these names that are mentioned are not true.

"We won't mention names, we won't speculate and we won't tell you until something happens."
