Martin Jol has dismissed reports linking Blackburn Rovers? former Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy with a Craven Cottage coaching role.

Murphy was this week linked with a position at his old club, who he played 169 games for during a five-year stint, but Jol does not envisage a return for the 35-year-old midfielder.

?I don?t see that happening; we haven?t spoken about it or thought about it,? said Jol.

?He?s at Blackburn, maybe he will be a coach there. He would need to get his licence. In England, 10 years ago you could get your licence in the supermarket with your bacon and beans. But now you have to do your courses.?

Murphy has fallen out of favour at Ewood Park and is set to hold talks with Rovers boss Michael Appleton about his future before the end of the season.
