Hamburg are reportedly trying to lure Fulham boss Martin Jol to the Bundesliga for a second spell in charge of the German club.
The Dutch tactician has been linked with a move back to Hamburg, where he was in charge in the 2008-09 season, after the club sacked Thorsten Fink last week after winning just four points from their first five games.
And as Jol is now in the final year of his contract at Craven Cottage, with no signs of an extension being signed, it is feasible that he could depart the club for Hamburg.
Jol's future with the Cottagers has already been called into question after he hit out at the home fans following last week's 1-1 draw against West Brom, while Saturday's 2-0 defeat at London neighbours Chelsea has left them in the relegation places with just four points from five games.
