Fulham boss Felix Magath believes his side's 1-0 win over Newcastle can inspire them to Premier League survival.
Magath had told his players ahead of Saturday's game that they needed to win all of their remaining home games to avoid the drop and Ashkan Desjagah's 68th-minute strike made the difference as the Cottagers claimed a vital three points.
The German coach is the West Londoners' third manager of the campaign and the board are hoping that his experience in his homeland can help him guide them off the foot of the table and away from the relegation zone.
With Fulham still to play Everton, Norwich, Hull and Crystal Palace at home, there are plenty of opportunities for them to pick up points at Craven Cottage and Magath feels the win over the Magpies can give his side confidence heading into the final weeks of the season.
"We are very proud and we are very happy. I think that this is now the point where it turns," he told Sky Sports. "We need confidence and I know it takes time.
"We hoped we could get a win and of course, that was the one thing that we need. It now gives the players confidence in the next games."
Fulham's next fixture sees them take on title chasing Manchester City and although the odds are stacked against them to get a result, they have won at the Etihad in the past and punters may look to use their free bet to back them to claim what would be a famous win on Saturday.
