The agent of Mahamadou Diarra has denied he is set to join Greek side Panathinaikos as he still hopes to earn a new deal with Fulham.
The 32-year-old's previous contract with the Cottagers expired at the end of last season but he has remained with the west Londoners to train with Martin Jol's squad over the summer.
Diarra endured a frustrating, injury-hit season last term with two knee operations restricting him to only eight appearances for the Whites.
Jol wants to check on his fitness before deciding whether to offer him fresh terms to keep him on board for this season.
In the meantime, Diarra's agent Frederic Guerra has rubbished reports the Malian is about to move to Greece.
He said: "It is not true that Panathinaikos have made him an offer.
"We are still waiting to see if Fulham offer him a new contract."
