Parker fitness test for Cottagers

Last Updated: Mon, 21 Oct 2013 11:36

Scott Parker is set to undergo a late fitness test to see if he can make a return to action for Fulham at Crystal Palace on Monday.

The midfielder has been out with a calf problem but is close to full fitness once again and should be back in Martin Jol's squad for the London derby.

The former Spurs man may have to settle for a place on the bench, however, as the Cottagers aim for back-to-back Premier League wins following the victory over Stoke last time out.

Defender Aaron Hughes will also train ahead of the fixture as he continues his recovery from a thigh injury but he is unlikely to make the matchday squad, but Adel Taarabt has been declared fit after the recent international break.
