German side Werder Bremen are ready to move for Fulham full-back John Arne Riise, who has been allowed to move on as a free agent.
Riise has a year left on his contract but has revealed he will be allowed to move on if he can find a club before the transfer window closes on September 2.
Bundesliga outfit Bremen were linked with the Norwegian defender earlier this month and Weser-Kurier have now reported that the German side are trying to agree a deal with Riise.
The 32-year-old was a regular for the Cottagers last season but wasn't included in the squad for the opening-day victory at Sunderland as Kieran Richardson started at left-back.
